Roma, Roma, Roma!

About a week or so ago, the boyfriend and I took a trip to somewhere different - Rome, Italy! It was so nice to get away for a week and just escape England, even if it's just for a little while.

On the first day, we didn't really do much. After stressing out at the airport because we couldn't find our hotel shuttle transfer, we didn't feel like exploring and just wanted to chill out and relax. However, we did quickly explore what was around our hotel, but we couldn't find anything and retreated to our room.

Throughout the week, we saw many of the tourist sights including the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon, Spanish steps and even had a little trip to the Hard Rock Cafe because I had never been to one before.

We're not usually the ones to take selfies, but we made an exception in Rome!

I had the BEST burger at the Hard Rock Cafe!

Bye for now!

Home for the holidays.

A few days ago, I met up with a local blogger, Nicole, whilst being back home in Cornwall. I'm creating my own publication as part of my degree and I've decided to use the theme of Fashion. I contacted a few bloggers and Nicole happened to be one of them.

We met up at Gyllyngvase beach cafe in Falmouth before taking some photos on the beach in the lovely sunshine. I ordered a refreshing glass of coke with a small bucket of chips and Nicole indulged into a salmon sandwich.

I spent the rest of my day wandering around Falmouth, admiring the lovely sights that I had missed so much and then later on caught the train to Truro where I met a few friends for drinks.

My 21st Birthday!

Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a while, but I'm back again and ready to get back into things. Yesterday was my 21st birthday and to celebrate, on Saturday I went out with my housemates and a few friends. I think I'm done with the whole club scene now after going out so much in my first year of uni, but one last time, we went out to a place called Komedia in Bath. It's the biggest place I've seen in terms of a 'club' - it's not really a club as they have comedy acts there too - and I had a really good time.

Sorry about the poor quality photos; they were taken using a phone camera.

Top - H&M; Skirt - Urban Outfitters

To celebrate my actual birthday, I went out yesterday with two of my closest friends, Sarah and Cami. We explored a really cute little tea room called Bea's Vintage Tea room located near the fashion museum in Bath. The music in there was music that was played in the 40's and it was decorated with lots of teacups, intricate cutlery and vintage posters. I had a teacake and elderflower presse whilst the girls had cake and tea.

After stopping for tea, I had my eye on a dress that I'd been after for a while, so I went and bought that and had a little gander around the shops, just in time for a photoshoot and a bit more food in Wetherspoons - not as classy as the tea room.

Cardigan - Topshop; Dress - Motel Rocks; Shoes - Vans; Hat - H&M
To end the day, I went for a meal at Ask Italian with my boyfriend, Mark, but when I got home, I found out that him and some of my friends and housemates had planned a surprise den party for me with cake and candles - the remains of which I am still scoffing. A lovely end, to a lovely day.
