Take me back...

I've been out of touch with my blog recently and I should really try and keep this up, but I've been so bogged down with second year university work and working part-time that I literally just haven't had time to do anything - student problems!
Anyway, here are a few photos of when I went back to Cornwall at the end of the summer for a few days.

Yesterday was my first day back at university as a second year after a lovely, long summer and my oh my did that go fast! I've been trying to get back into the routine of getting up early, packing lunch, getting enough sleep and now, trying to organise my time so that I have enough time to do all of the projects I've been given - which will be three by the end of the week!

When I put this outfit together, I didn't actually think of it as a 'back to school' kind of thing, but when I put my new coat with it (which by the way was £16! in Asda) it all just slotted together nicely. I picked up the lovely, but slightly unusual cat skirt from H&M which I wasn't so keen on in the beginning, but now LOVE for £12 along with the yellow cardy for only £10. I also got the shoes recently seeing as my student loan had not long gone in and I was really due for a new pair of shoes. I wanted something quite neutral but there isn't a lot of neutral colours out there at the moment as it's all oranges and reds now to fit the autumn season. But I have a lot of red things in my wardrobe, so they go with pretty much everything. Plus the straps on them as well make me feel like a ballerina.

The photos again were taken by the lovely photographer that is my housemate, Miss Sarah Porteus (who is on my sidebar - check out her blog). We decided that after spending the morning or so at uni that we wanted to have a look around the town, get another photoshoot done (one that hadn't actually been taken in Bath city centre yet) and get the essentials we needed. How are you all finding going back to College/University?
