Happy autumn everybody! I absolutely love taking photos with the lovely Miss Sarah Porteus, she is such a good photographer and always makes the photos she takes of me turn out so great. As I didn't think I really had anything in my wardrobe to use for a fashion blog post today, I borrowed one of Sarah's dresses and cardigan which fitted in well with the current autumnal theme that we were going for. We picked up this squash yesterday whilst on a quick outing to Lidl which came in so handy for this photoshoot.

I got to try my hand at a few photos too.Sarah has a lovely camera and showed me to how to use it briefly so we could get some photos of her for her blog, for a fashion post rather than just some photography. I think they turned out well as she has used them on her blog so far!

Although Sarah may not like this dress, I adore it! It's so lovely. The colours go so well together and pairing it with Sarah's mustard yellow hand-knitted cardigan just tops it all off.

For the shoot, we didn't even have to venture out in the car for a change as we went to a local allotments just around the corner from us and then onto a small local park as well. The park is fairly big and has a small but cute river running through it, with little bridges every so often so that you can cross to get to the other side.

Check out the photos I took below...

Acting like Emmets.

Me taking a photo of the photograher!

DRESS RIVER ISLAND | CARDIGAN H&M | BOW CROWN & GLORY | DENIM JACKET PEACOCKS | NECKLACE PRIMARK | BAG PRIMARK
An 'Emmet' is a cornish term for a tourist, if you didn't already know. I know it doesn't sound like the best word ever, but there are so many tourists still in Cornwall at the moment. I was only back home for a few days just to chill out before uni starts again, but South Cornwall is still fairly busy! It's crazy! My boyfriend came home with me this time as well so that I would have some company and we could do all the touristy things as he has never been to Cornwall before. The only thing about Cornwall is that if you don't have a car to get around in, doing some of the 'touristy' things can actually be quite difficult. But between trains and buses, we managed a fair amount of things. As well as my step-dad also driving us around a bit.

I snapped up this lovely dress from River Island! I was casually browsing online one day when I saw it and knew that I had to have it. I've wanted another white dress for a while now and had never really found one that I liked. I also wanted one that was completely white, but I'm a sucker for flowers, especially if they happen to be pink, so this ticked all of the boxes. Paired then with either a denim jacket or in my case, usually a cardigan and a bow from Crown and Glory and the outfit is complete!

Keep and eye out for more blog posts soon as I'll hopefully be posting more about my Cornwall adventures and all of the photos I have taken - and there are lots!

These are a few of the photos I took using the 'panoramic' feature on my phone.

Windswept and Interesting.

Dolly's Tea Room
I love bunting so much! Especially in an array of colours!

As of this week, I am back in Cornwall for a few days with the boyfriend. Yesterday, when we arrived, it was lovely and sunny, but here in Cornwall, the weather is always tempermental. Because of this, even though we had a great time walking round idyllic Falmouth, the rain did get us down a bit. The photos that I took today, were taken on my phone as opposed to Mark's fancy camera, but with a bit of editing, they still came out well! (And were only really taken of the harbour).

We were going to try and have a small lunch in Dolly's Tea Room, but it was sadly closed as we arrived, so good old Wetherspoons it was. We had a quick look around Falmouth before heading off to Truro for the rest of the day.

The rest of the evening was rounded off by having a few members of the family come round for a good old chat. There was lots of laughter and my family got to meet my boyfriend for the first time too! Although, I'm not quite sure if they scared him off or not.

A vision in red.

I look a bit moody in this one...

Mark (the boyfriend) wanted this shot to show the detail on the dress.
I found an apple lying on the floor.

DRESS C/O SARAH PORTEUS (ORIGINALLY FROM MISS SELFRIDGE) | CARDIGAN H&M | BAG TOPSHOP | SHOES PRIMARK | NECKLACE ETSY
I've felt a little bit disconnected from my blog recently, which is why I'm back up and running again! I haven't had a lot of time to do much recently due to work and fitting in free time with the boyfriend, but luckily yesterday we got round to shooting some new photos for a new outfit post!

This lovely dress is actually my house mate's that she said I could borrow - we're pretty much the same size and shape, so I'm sure we'll be swapping outfits and sifting through each other's wardrobes quite often. I picked up this bag quite recently from Topshop - where else?! I've needed a new one for a while and this was perfect! It goes well with the dress and the cardigan, but I'm still not sure if it's too much red or not.

This location is slightly different to the one that we usually use - either my back garden or the boyfriend's, and we wanted to change. This location is a small strip of land next to a couple of houses which is around the corner from where my boyfriend lives - about a 2 minute walk. And it completely makes a change from the usual locations. Maybe next time, we'll wander into Bath and discover somewhere new that will make for a nice shoot?
